25/26 Athletic Participation Registration
Attention Families of Student Athletes:

Please review the following important reminders to ensure your student athlete is ready for the 2025-2026 school year:

Many of our athletes have already started completing the required paperwork to participate in athletics next year. However, we’ve noticed a few common issues we want to help clarify:


What’s Required?
All forms must be completed in Final Forms.

This year, there are two new requirements under the AIA Academy Requirements section:

Opioid Education Course
Brainbook Concussion Course

Important Steps:
Parent Signature: Once parents have signed all required forms in Final Forms, students will receive an email.
Student Signature: Students must check their email, create a Final Forms account (if they haven’t already), and log in to sign the required student sections.
Physical Form: Please make sure you upload all 8 pages of the 2025-2026 AIA Physical Form. The physical must be dated AFTER March 1, 2025 to be valid for the upcoming school year.

Cancellation Notice: Anti-Vaping Parent Event
Dear Families,

Due to low registration, Emily Gray Junior High will be canceling the “Understanding Vaping: What Parents Need to Know” event originally scheduled for July 24th.

We still recognize the importance of this topic and will be providing a recorded resource for parents and guardians in the near future. This recording will offer the same practical strategies and information to help support your child.

💻 Chromebook Distribution Update – Please Read

We want to let you know that student Chromebooks will not be available for pickup during Orientation as originally planned.
Instead, students will be able to check out their Chromebooks
during the school day on Friday, August 1.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we work to ensure all devices are ready for a successful start to the school year.

Reminder!! 8th Grade Promotion will be from 6:30pm to 7:30pm on the football field at Tanque Verde High School on Wednesday May 21st.

Our 8th graders are flying away to Washington DC on Saturday - Bon voyage! And we have a week of fun and educational activities for our 8th graders who are staying with us in Tucson. Thank you to all our volunteers and teachers who have worked tirelessly to make next week memorable for our Bobcats!

8th Grade Promotion will take place on Wednesday, May 21st at 6:30. We will hold our ceremony at Tanque Verde High School on the football field. For this promotion ceremony, we ask that students dress in business formal attire, ties and collared shirts for boys, dresses or business attire for girls. Because our ceremony is on the football field, we recommend flats or wedges for shoes, pointed heels often sink or break into the turf. We strongly encourage families to carpool due to limited parking.

8th Grade Yard Signs are Here! We are excited to announce that yard signs for our 8th graders have arrived! 🎉 Signs will be available for pickup after 3:00 PM on Monday. Please note our office hours are 7:30 AM–4:00 PM. We can't wait to celebrate our amazing 8th graders!

Bottled waters Snacks are our top priority donation!
