Exciting News!
The Tanque Verde Jazz Band took the stage at the Arizona Band and Orchestra Directors Association Area Jazz Festival at Canyon del Oro High School! They performed for an audience of fellow young jazz musicians and a panel of esteemed Tucson jazz experts, including faculty from the University of Arizona and Pima Community College.
After their performance, the band had the incredible opportunity to participate in a clinic with two outstanding jazz musicians, receiving direct feedback and engaging in a guided rehearsal.
For the third consecutive year, Tanque Verde Jazz Band has earned an overall rating of Superior!
Each year, the program graduates incredible musicians, and the new and returning members continue to raise the bar. Congratulations to these talented students on their hard work and dedication!
