From a science fair project to a prestigious fellowship, Tanque Verde High School Senior Finn McGill demonstrates that there are no limits when pursuing an idea with curiosity, inquiry and innovation.
"Finnegan McGill, 17, of Tucson, has been named a recipient of the $25,000 Davidson Fellows Scholarship for his innovative project, A-BiRD: Automated Bird Recognition Device – Revolutionizing Ornithological Research for Global Bird Conservation. The award, part of the Davidson Institute’s 25th anniversary, is among a record $825,000 in scholarships granted to 21 students nationwide, according to a news release."
