This week, Tanque Verde High School’s United States History classes welcomed the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution for their annual presentation as part of our Constitution Day celebrations.
Students enjoyed an engaging lecture on the American Revolutionary War, learning about the people, events, and sacrifices that shaped our nation’s founding. The presenters also brought artifacts from the era, including replica muskets, giving students a hands-on connection to history.
To conclude Constitution Week, local constitutional law expert and attorney Anthony Holbrook visited our United States Government classes. He guided students through constitutional law case studies and highlighted high-interest amendments, sparking thoughtful discussion and deeper understanding of our nation’s founding document.
This special week continues to enrich our students’ appreciation of the Constitution and its enduring impact.
