I chose Tanque Verde High School because of its close-knit community and the sense of control I felt over my own education. Whether through sports or clubs, I always felt supported. TVHS offers excellent academic programs, and I loved that through activities like National Honor Society and City Beautification Club, I could make a real impact on the school. The combination of strong academics and meaningful extracurriculars made me switch schools in search of a more complete high school experience.
I’ve been able to challenge myself academically by taking 11 AP and dual enrollment classes, and socially by being an officer of five different clubs. There’s truly something for everyone here, and I’m proud to have found my place. No matter your interests or skills, TVHS will make you feel like part of something bigger.
