Tanque Verde is excited to welcome Sean Spiece as our new Head Boys Basketball Coach! Coach Spiece brings 13 years of coaching experience, including 9 as a head coach, a 2020 Sonoran Conference Championship, and 2020 5A Sonoran Coach of the Year honors.

We are excited to officially welcome Sean Spiece as the new Head Boys Basketball Coach at Tanque Verde High School! 🏀

Coach Spiece brings 13 years of coaching experience, including 9 years as a head coach and 4 years as a JV head coach. He served as Head Coach at Flowing Wells High School from 2017–2026, where he led his team to the 2020 Sonoran Conference Championship and earned 2020 5A Sonoran Coach of the Year honors. In addition to his success on the court, he has also served as an English teacher at Flowing Wells Junior High for 12 years, bringing a strong commitment to student growth both athletically and academically.
