Transportation & Parking

Line of School Buses
For information regarding bus schedules, behavior, and boundaries please visit our TVUSD Bus Routes & Transportation page of the district website.

For the safety of our students, parents, staff and community, please follow the procedures and rules below when dropping off and picking up your student.  We respectfully ask that you not park in paved spots not marked as visitor as they are reserved for students and staff during school hours.

Drop Off:
Please follow the traffic flow in the map below.  You may enter at entrance point A or B and then circle around.  Those entering at entrance point B will take the first left.  Do not enter the Bus Loading Zone.  Please note that our buses, staff members and students utilize entrance B.  We ask that parents please remain in the vehicle and exit as soon as their student is safely out of the vehicle.  All vehicles will use the same exit.

Pick Up:
Please follow the traffic flow in the map below.  You may enter at entrance point A or B and then circle around.  Those entering at entrance point B will take the first left.  Do not enter the Bus Loading Zone.  Please note that our buses utilize entrance B.  We ask that parents please remain in the vehicle and circle around and re-enter if their student is not out front waiting for them.  This will help to keep traffic flowing.  All vehicles will use the same exit.  If you prefer, you may park in the dirt area in front of the baseball and softball fields and have your student meet you there.  Please note that Pima County does have no parking signage along Melpomene in front of the school and tennis courts.

Student parking lots are first come, first serve.  Specific spots will not be assigned; however, to park on campus during school hours a parking permit must be obtained.  Parking on the TVHS campus is a privilege and limited to available parking spaces.  A parking permit is not guaranteed for all students and will be limited to one per family.  A student must be a fully licensed driver to obtain a parking permit.

To apply for a TVHS Parking Permit a parent (using a parent email address) MUST, complete this TVHS Parking Permit Application, upload all required documents and submit.  Completion of an application is not a guarantee of a parking permit.  If a parking permit is awarded, you will be notified via email with instructions on how to pay the fee in My School Bucks (MSB).  A unique parking permit tag will be provided which must hang on the rearview mirror, visible while parked on campus.

The parking permit fee is $60.  Replacement Permit Fee is $5.  Parking permit fees are non-refundable.

NOTE:  Online school registration must be completed and accepted before a student's parking application will be processed.

ParkingGrid

Visitor parking during school hours is available in the area just north of the administrative offices.  These are accessible by entering through entrance B.  We also have 2 handicap spots in this lot and 4 handicap parking spaces accessible by entering through entrance A.  If all spaces are filled, please park south of campus in the dirt area along Melpomene in front of the baseball and softball fields (this area is Pima County property and all "no parking" signage is theirs).

We respectfully ask that you not park in any other paved spots as they are reserved for students and staff during school hours.

Students are encouraged to ride their bikes to school but may not ride them on the campus grounds.  Bikes are to be securely locked to the bike rack located on the north end of the Administration building.  The student will walk around to the front of the school to enter campus.

GOOD NEIGHBOR

Being a good neighbor in our community is important.  We ask that all students, parents, staff and visitors be respectful and not park on private property or block private driveways.

Please note that the dirt section west along Melpomene is owned and regulated by Pima County not TVUSD.  This is not a school parking area.
